The audio playback
quality of the D’Music is definitely above average with great bass
and treble output. The equalizer presets do a great job of providing
optimal audio playback for a wide variety of music genres. In addition,
MP3 songs at 128kbps provide the best audio playback.

Features
The D’Music comes
with many of the same features as other MP3 players on the market.
The LCD screen is small yet is displays a multitude of information
and the red LED light indicates when you are running low on memory
when making voice recordings. However, the D’Music utilizes a parallel
port connection and does not support Windows 2000.
5.5
Price
The base D’Music
player costs $160 without the optional 32MB SmartMedia card which
costs an additional $80. The additional SmartMedia card is quite
pricey but 32MB of onboard memory does not offer the greatest amount
of music storage.
5.5
Availability
The Pine D’Music
player is available at a wide variety of major online vendors and
a few electronic retailers.

Documentation
& Software Bundle
The manual does
a great job of providing all the necessary procedure for operating
the D’Music with accurate illustrations. However, the trial versions
of the included software are of little value due to the limited functionality.
